In relation to a tender for translation services relating to the aviation sector we are looking to increase our pool of experienced LITHUANIAN, MALTESE, POLISH, PORTUGUESE, ROMANIAN, SLOVAK, SLOVENIAN, SPANISH, SWEDISH, ICELANDIC and NORWEGIAN translators specialised in aviation.

The required translator profile is as follows:

• University degree or equivalent qualification in Aeronautical Engineering PLUS translation experience into the mother tongue language, equivalent to 1000 std pages (approx. 250,000 words), or one year’s full-time work (in-house translator)
OR

• University degree or equivalent qualification in Translation PLUS specialisation evidenced by Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering PLUS translation experience into the mother tongue language, equivalent to 1000 std pages (approx. 250,000 words), at least 500 of which (approx. 125,000 words) in the field of Aviation, or one year’s full-time work (in-house translator)
OR

• University degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline PLUS translation experience into the mother tongue language, equivalent to 1000 std pages (approx. 250,000 words) in the field of Aviation, or one year’s full-time work (in-house translator)

Tender requirements are that interested candidates who feel they meet these requirements MUST provide:

• Acceptable proof e.g. reference letters, copies of invoices, certificates, which must clearly indicate the volume of work undertaken, language combination and the translator name. Self-declarations cannot be accepted.

ONLY candidates demonstrating relevant experience and meeting these requirements will be considered.

Candidates must be LITHUANIAN, MALTESE, POLISH, European PORTUGUESE, ROMANIAN, SLOVAK, SLOVENIAN, SPANISH, SWEDISH, ICELANDIC or NORWEGIAN mother-tongue.
